Frequently asked questions

Is OpusDesk really free to use?
Yes. Most modules have a free tier you can keep using indefinitely. Opus Invoice gives you 3 invoices per month, Opus Booking 25 bookings, and Opus Time 3 clients. Only upgrade when you need more.
How does pricing work?
Each module can be purchased individually (from €3/month) or you can bundle and save: Starter (3 modules, €12/month), Growth (6 modules, €25/month), Professional (10 modules, €39/month) or Complete (all 17 modules, €55/month). One user is always included, extra users cost €7/month each.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored in the EU, on servers in the Netherlands. We don't sell or share your data with third parties. With Opus Backup you can create encrypted backups to your own storage (S3, WebDAV, SFTP). We cannot read those backups.
Can I use OpusDesk for my VAT returns?
Yes. Opus Invoice automatically calculates VAT per invoice (21%, 9%, 0%) and generates a VAT overview per quarter. You can export UBL files for your accountant. KOR mode is also supported.
How does the Mollie integration work?
You connect your Mollie account once (KYC via KvK and IBAN). All modules that process payments, Invoice, Booking, Workshop, Learn, Pay, use the same Mollie connection. Clients pay via iDEAL or credit card, and the status is automatically updated.
Can I use just one module?
Absolutely. Each module works fully independently. Start with just Opus Invoice, or just Opus Booking. If you activate a second module later, they automatically share your contacts and client data, but they don't have to.
What does an extra user cost?
Each bundle includes 1 user (the owner). Extra users cost €7/month per person, regardless of which bundle you have. The accountant role is always free: read-only access to financial data.
What if I want to cancel?
You can cancel at any time, no annual contract, no cancellation fees. Your data stays available for 30 days after cancellation, so you can export everything.
Is there an API available?
Yes, all modules offer API access. All functionality you see in the interface is also available via the REST API.
What are the transaction fees?
Transaction fees decrease as you bundle more: 3% (free tier), 2% (individual Pro module), 1.5% (Starter), 1% (Growth), 0.75% (Professional), 0.5% (Complete). This is on top of standard Mollie fees (e.g. €0.29 per iDEAL transaction).
